The S-video capture looks fine, but the audio is utter crap. The problem I’ve got with mine is that the volume is unadjustable in the capture card’s settings It dealeextreme better than a lot of devices own rubbish software. I have one of the EasyCap devices and the S-Video is so bright and flat looking that the composite somehow looks better. Have You Played Atari Today?

But the 1 influence on how well your captures turn out will be the Codec used. Thankfully I only use EasyCaps for streaming.
If you are capturing something newer, or that has a interlaced signal, like a NES, or C64, the resulting capture won’t be at par, unless you feed it S-video. Search questions only Also search answers.

For anything Atari 8 bit related, that doesn’t matter, because the computer is below dwalextreme resolution of the capture device.
I’m just not sure if this is a better alternative to a Dazzle for capturing p. Captures are a bit smudgy, but useful. Considering how the dazzle doesn’t seem to work at all on windows 7 without manipulating it into an xp mode or something, I might give easycap a shot Will i have to buy the more expensive version?
One problem with easycaps is there are a ton of fake devices out there apparently
